Maphuti Elizabeth Tswai (53) reportedly died on the same day when a taxi driver decided to hit her with his taxi following an argument with her.
The disturbing news occurred last week near Alex Plaza in Alexandra.
According to reports, he hit her in full view of people and fled the scene.
This week, she will be buried in Limpopo. She left three kids and six grand-children.
Her family is seeking donations for transport as they aim to organize transports that will enable many people from Alex and around to pay their final respects.
The driver is believed to be known, but the police haven’t made any arrests.
