The former MP, Ponani Makhubele, who currently works in one of the departments in Limpopo and was born and raised in Gandlanani Ka- Khani, Giyani, took to Facebook and slammed the acclaimed Xitsonga Music Promoter, popularly known as Manager Philani.
Philani and Ponani had a heated exchange on Facebook when Philani accused Makhadzi of owing him R55k.
According to Philani, Makhadzi was paid R55k to perform in 2022, but Makhadzi never showed up and never paid back the money.
Ponani posted on Facebook that she thought she wouldn’t respond, but she wanted to warn Philani to be cautious.
“This is me, my body, and how I am. He is very loose, so even people fighting lost battles are using him.
“He goes around accusing people of owing him now. Now they mislead him. I don’t play Stockvels Mina [me]. I never did. Philani Angani nyel* cause utati nyel* aloyima. [Loosely translated- Philani, must not kak on me, because he will kak on himself standing ].
“If he has my naked pictures, I dare him to post them for all to see. I have a very beautiful body that I’m proud of. He thinks I’m his friends who beg him when he threatens them. I’m not. I have nothing to hide or run from. I live a pure, clean life, so Philani don’t cross the line.
“You recruit people who even mislead you because they see that you will do anything for fame and relevance. You can’t slur me for days simply because I said on a comment that it’s wrong for you to attack Makhadzi when we all celebrate her.
“I simply said ‘If indeed Makhadzi owed you, from 2022 you would have long made noise because we know you, but you now go to her wall when she is celebrating to make such claims. It’s not normal for someone to slur someone due to that. Please share the pictures you claim to have. I don’t take threats lightly.

“Battle lines are drawn. If I am a fake Sangoma, why were you calling me to give me animals to use endumbeni, since you know we use skins to heal? Aai maan wa Chansa.
“I have tolerated your slurs. You do live videos where you slam me. I keep quiet. You are hoping I will come and beg you to stop. Well, I can’t. Instead, I challenge you to expose me as you claim.
“The people who are misleading you won’t come out to support their claims because they know it’s not true.
“My life is very open and I know that as a politician, we will face fools who want to blackmail us for survival. I won’t let Philani enjoy using my name.
“I’m waiting for you to post pictures of me so you can see that I’m different from those you dance on their heads. I don’t send people pictures; I post them here on my wall.
“Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep quiet and let him create a wrong impression about me. He claims to have those pictures. He is used to bullying people. If I keep quiet, he will claim I begged him not to. So, I’m now telling him to post”, wrote Ponani on her Facebook page.
Ponani told #GiyaniView that she never had a personal relationship with Philani, and for him to claim that he has her naked pictures was a stunt.
“The only time I had a conversation with him was when he called me to ask if I use a monkey skin after he knocked down a monkey while returning to Gauteng from Phalaborwa”, she said.
