A man in his forties was found dead yesterday afternoon in his room at no.43-2nd Avenues in Alexandra.
According to neighbours, the man had not been seen for days and they suspected something was amiss.
A source close to the situation said they had to call the police to intervene after they saw the key hanging from the inside on the door.
The cause of his death is still unknown.
Police were not reached for comment at the time of going to press.
