Three people were killed when a fire destroyed a spaza shop in Greenville Alexandra today.
It’s suspected that the fire started after a makeshift DB box fed by illegal connections in the area blew up and started the fire.
City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena says the deceased are Mozambican nationals.
“The area is along London Road and recently they blocked the road when we cut the illegal connections,” said Mangena.
