Activists and Citizens Forum (ACF) calls upon all political parties in the country that get funding from people with direct links with Israel to immediately stop taking such money.
Dennis Bloem, spokesperson for ACF said “we must tell these political parties that they must know that the blood of innocent Palestinians are dripping from such money”.
Bloem said the ongoing “slaughtering of Palestinians” cannot continue for ever.
“We cannot have political parties that are so desperate for funding that they close their eyes to the genocide against the Palestinians.
“We who were once oppressed by a vicious regime understand very well what the Palestinians are going through. That is why we cannot keep quiet when the slaughter of children and women continues
“We want to reiterate our call to all peace loving South Africans to raise their voices and put pressure on the government to close the Israeli Embassy and cut ties with Israel,” he said.
He said the time was now for “all of us to say with one voice that this government must show urgency in closing the Israeli Embassy”.
“They cannot tolerate the brutality of Israel against defenseless Palestinians? Enough is enough. The Israeli Embassy must close.”
