Kabelo, known as Maclean, has now become unclean after he did a dirty job and is now a wanted boy.
He committed a stupid act by dropping his phone after allegedly stealing four batteries with his friends in New Botlhabela, Alexandra on Friday.
His smart phone’s lack of pin maked it easy for the victims to identify him. The phone chats that were observed also incriminated him.
The victims, who also called his mother, are now requesting that he return the batteries and walk free.
“He broke into four cars and stole batteries. Unfortunately, he dropped his phone in one of the cars. We found his contact information and attempted to reach out to his mother and him, as his phone has WhatsApp and the most recent detailed contacts.”
According to the victim, his mother seemed to have no interest in convincing her boy.
He said the reason why they haven’t opened a case is because they thought the boy would come forward. The first thing they wanted was to get in touch with the parent, however, that has not happened.
