The purpose of the position is to engage with State Hospitals (Eye Care Clinics) and previously disadvantaged communities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker
Experience in a similar role

We are looking for a Technical Advisor: Psychosocial to develop and implement activities aimed at strengthening psychosocial support for People Living With HIV (PLHIV) including scale up of HIV testing, care, and support for children and adolescents in and outside DoH health facilities.
Key duties and responsibilities
Support implementation of HIV Programme, as outlined in the work plan.
Strengthen referral linkages within the health systems, especially between health facilities and Community Based Organisations (CBO’s) in partnering with other organisations, Anova and DoH staff.
Oversee the implementation of the KidzAlive (KA) model, as well as adolescent support groups within the facilities and Anova staff.
Support Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) programs in collaboration with the other NGOs within the district.
Mentor and support Social Auxiliary Workers to provide psychosocial support to children, adolescents and their caregivers where needed.
Support DoH/Anova counsellors and clinicians to conduct case finding at adult, adolescent and paediatric Antiretroviral (ART) sites.
Identify training needs within the organisation and the DoH facilities.
Attend to stakeholders meetings including facility/sub district management meetings.
Manage Social Auxiliary Workers, Counsellors and provide support to the Linkage Officers.
Essential qualifications and experience
Bachelor of Social Science in Social Work or relevant qualification.
Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
At least 5 years of Social Work experience, including supervising Social Auxiliary workers and working with children, adolescents and adults.
At least 3 years’ experience working in HIV/AIDS programme and supervision of staff.
Training in I-ACT and National Adherence Strategy (NAS) and KidzAlive.
Good presentation and excellent communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Good report writing skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.

We are looking for a skilled Data Capturer to support the project through direct service at facility level who will carry out data-related admin work, capture patient’s files, generate defaulter reports and compile monthly statistics.
Key duties and responsibilities
Collate and organise data into relevant data tools as required by the project, including data from NHLS, facilities and routine data.
Assist in making sure all VL updates are captured on TIER.net.
Assist the M&E Coordinator to manage monthly data reports from project staff, particularly the CLOs.
Implement and report on Data Quality Improvement Projects.
Support the M&E Coordinator to improve routinely collected data e.g. DHIS data at PASP facilities, by participating in data audits and data improvement activities, including training.
Assist the M&E Coordinator to collate and analyze monthly data reports from project staff, particularly the CLOs.
Assist with submission TIER export and dispatch weekly (Cluster facilities).
Data cleaning(interrogations) at facility level.
Safe storage of monthly backups, dispatches and Monthly reports.
Essential qualifications and experience:

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
