A tragic accident occurred on the R521 between Polokwane and Dendron in Kalkpank this morning, resulting in the death of 13th people.
Traffic officials at the scene are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. The exact cause remains unclear, but preliminary reports suggest that there was a head-on collision between a taxi and a truck.
The MEC for Transport and Community Safety in Limpopo, Florence Radzilani, has expressed her condolences to the families affected by this devastating incident.
“She will visit the scene at 11:00 AM to oversee the ongoing assessment and offer support.
“Exercise caution and patience when approaching the area. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available from the traffic officials,” said the source.
