Green Development Foundation, in collaboration with Coca-Cola, Old Mutual, Tafla Group, Medilac, and Sankofa Solutions, donated 20 pairs of shoes to Carter Primary School this morning.
Not only did they donate shoes, but they also had a soup kitchen drive.
Muhluri Sambo, an intern at Green Development, said that this will be an ongoing initiative for schools in Gauteng and other provinces.
Another stakeholder from Sankofa Solutions said they were delighted to be part of the drive as it changes the lives of children whose parents cannot afford school uniforms.
