Christians left revived and healed during Christ Embassy’s historical heritage celebration in Alex

Christ Embassy Southern Africa Zone 1 held a special service and celebration programme in honour of Heritage Day at the KwaBhekilanga Sports Ground in Alexandra.

The event which kicked off with a special Heritage Day Sunday service, saw Christians from across the world united for one purpose, praising their Lord Jesus.

According to the event hosts, the celebration was part of the Reachout World South Africa campaign, which aims to spread the life-changing message of Rhapsody of Realities devotional throughout South Africa, bringing hope and transforming lives.

The colourful event featured South Africa’s culture which were displayed in carnival floats, song and dance featuring world renowned daily devotional which in all the 11 South African official languages.

According to the organisers, Rhapsody of Realities is now distributed and written in all known languages – including over Braille, making it accessible to a wide audience.

During the event, some shared their life-changing experiences with the devotional during the testimony segment.

The event ended with the South Africa and LW national anthems.

“We express our gratitude to the leader of the global ministry, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, for providing us with a tool to impact the world and change lives,” said the organizers.

Organizers said Reachout World South Africa continues to make a difference, not just in South Africa but also across the world with similar programmes held in several nations around the world.

“We use Rhapsody of Realities as a tool to fulfil the mission of preaching the gospel and winning souls to the kingdom. Reachout World South Africa continues to make a difference, not just in South Africa but also across the world.

” Through campaigns such as this, Reachout World South Africa is able to touch lives and impact communities positively.”

The church is part of the global ministry – Loveworld Incorporated, which is 36 years old.

“The churches under the ministry are called Christ Embassy but we have numerous departments under the ministry.

“We have 5 zones across South Africa. Each zone has numerous churches which are organised into groups including Sandton Group (Alexandra falls under this).

“Our membership in South Africa is approximately100 000. Globally the membership is in the millions.With regard to the attendance we were very pleased with the turnout,” said the organizers.
