” Upon receiving a request from Limpopo Health MEC Dr. Phophi Ramathuba for assistance from the Collen Mashawana Foundation to construct a home for Meida Ramahulana, I visited the delightful family on September 11, 2022, at Ha-Mudimeli in Limpopo Province to evaluate their living conditions,” said Collen Mashawana.
“During this visit, I made a commitment to build a new home for the family and requested 8 weeks to enhance their living conditions.
“Remarkably, the Collen Mashawana Foundation fulfilled this commitment in just 4 weeks. We presented them with a fully furnished 2-bedroom house featuring a kitchen, a lounge, and a bathroom.
“Furthermore, Meida underwent a successful surgery for a rare chin cancer that had hindered her employment opportunities.
“Recognizing the community’s limited access to water, we also donated a borehole to Meida. This contribution not only provided essential water supply but also empowered her to become a successful businesswoman supplying water to the community,” Mashawana added.
