A resident of Alex, Mthobisi Sithole (20) and his accomplice entered the court of a white man at Roodipoort and an unexpected tragedy occurred.
Shortly after the victim pressed the panic button, security officers from various companies quickly responded at the scene, catching the thugs trying to escape.
The officers had a great day after handcuffing the boys and savagely assaulting them while somebody was capturing the facts.
In the video which created a traffic on social media, Mthobisi and his accomplice, also from Alexandra, were hardly beaten up, kicked carelessly and allegedly poured acid while an officer is heard threatening to urinate on them.
Their cries of pity fell on deaf ears while the officers of National security company , among others, continued to inflict agonizing pain on young thugs.
One officer could be heard asking for a gun from the young men.
Mthobisi’s father, Stanley Sithole (62), is angry about the suffering of his last son.
Sithole told Alex Reporter that the video was a reminder of the apartheid era.
He said that he understood that his son was wrong for committing a crime, but he maintained that two wrongs do not make good.
I cannot tolerate what my boy did to this white man… I also hate crime.
“However, the fact that these security guards caused excruciating pain to my child and his friend is completely out of order.”
Sithole claims boys were arrested on 18 February 2021 and placed in pre-trial detention after being denied bail on 16 March.
Sithole alleged that after experiencing excruciating pain, no measures were taken to ensure that they received medical attention.
“They have not been taken to hospital. Yesterday (19th March), I had to go and give them medication at the Roodipoort police station,” he said.
What Sithole demands is only justice for what his son endured .
“I want to sue the security company.”
According to Sithole, his son was with the two accomplices, but one managed to escape unharmed.
It was not new that Mthobisi was beaten by security officers after he allegedly committed house robbery crime.
According to Sithole, he is still attending similar court case.
