Sthembele Budaza, an Alex resident, is accused by his ex-girlfriend to have kidnapped their three-year-old daughter from a Grace Early Learning Center (based in Alex) last week.
“He does not answer our messages. We tried to contact him to no avail,” explains Thulisile Ncapai (22), the mother of the child.
“He kidnapped that child last Tuesday. He threatened to kill the child and himself if I don’t get back to him,” Thulisile alleged.
A kidnapping case that Alex Reporter saw was registered with Alex SAPS.
Budaza, originally from Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape, allegedly used to pick up the girl on Fridays, which apparently made owners of the facility not to suspect anything
His actual residence is unknown, but he used to stay at 5078 Field Street, Ext 7, Alex.
When we contacted Budaza, he denied kidnapping her.
“I have not abducted the child because she is my daughter. I took her because her mother is so useless.
“What she knows is to sleep with a bunch of men.
“One time I took my daughter to a doctor and was told she had an infection. And her mother was also present.
“So I decided to take my child home where I feel she is safe, because her mother is always having nice life drinking alcohol,” he claimed.
