*Ways of reporting crimes
Colonel Rikhotso pointed out that gender-based violence and femicide occur in a secret location where many people cannot see.
Rikhotso further indicated that many people are victims of all kinds of abuses, even in the house of the Lord.
He stressed that community members have a mandate to report all these kinds of abuses and to help those who are unable to do so.
Rikhotso stated that women, children and persons with disabilities are the most targeted.
“And they are living in fear of reporting abusive behavior because they are afraid that their oppressors will threaten them,” Rikhotso said.
While advising congregants to report all the matters to the trusted persons, such as their church pastors or Leaders, he also encouraged the youth to focus on studies and also do away with crime.
The contact details for the Station management was also shared to the congregants
