Ward Councillor 108, Deborah Busisiwe Francisco, has returned to controversy.
This time, she is accused of malicious damage to property, amongst others.
Lyphat Baloyi (74), who has been at loggerheads with Francisco, has finally opened a case (Case number 366/2/2021) at the Alexandra SAPS, after police had allegedly down-played his request before.
Francisco is accused of having taken the house belonging to the Baloyi family located at 8-7e avenue and reportedly gave her friend Lebo ‘Macheckers’ Moshabi.
She reportedly opened a case of aggression (countercharge last week) against Baloyi’s two daughters.
Why hasn’t she reported to the SAPS and JMPD at the same time. She showed you (Alex reporter) that her finger was hurt (At the push that occurred on February 19, 2021).
“Why didn’t she show you the rest of the body that went under attack?” Baloyi asked, adding,”Videos are there, but they cannot prove that she has been assaulted. The footage will prove her mistake in court. She may be accused of perjury.”
Alex Reporter reached out to the councillor and a man said, “That’s the wrong number.”
We then sent her WhatsApp messages asking for her comment, but she had not responded when we went to press.
Baloyi, who lived in the same courtyard as the councillor between 1980 and 2020, alleges that Francisco harassed his family.
“She put my late son’s (Given Baloyi) room 7 under lock and key, on the 10/10/2o2o,without obtaining any court order from the court of law accompanied by the Sherriff of the court.
“She took the law into her own hands.”
Baloyi, who was still grieving his son and wife who died last year, said he went to the house in question accompanied by Alex police in order to help open the room as Francisco had allegedly put a key blocker.
“That same day, after the police and I left, she bullied my family members and took them out of that room.
“Again, on February 19, SAPS, JMPD and the media were present when she demonstrated aggressiveness.
“She was rude and disrespectful in their presence and within Alexandra’s community as a whole.”
He alleges that on the night of February 19, Francisco organized individuals to beat up his family members and pull them out of the room.
“She took out their furniture and put Macheckers in it.
“There is no doubt she sold the house to him.”
He further alleged: “She always boasted in the yard and in the street, saying, ‘I have my police officials in all the ranks at Alex SAPS and I am well known’.
“She moves in the yard and in the streets of Alexandra saying ‘The Baloyis shall die one by one’, so it’s known that if this can happen, she shall be the first suspect to have killed the Baloyi family. She also says she can set up gangsters to kill the Baloyis.
“I believe she can do this because on February 19, 2021, she purchased alcohol for certain residents to kick my family. So if it happens that someone dies, she shall be the prime suspect.”
