A 58-year-old man who raped a 13-year-old girl last night in the Joppie Village near Tzaneen in Limpopo, hanged himself.
Limpopo police said the suspect went to his wife’s homestead looking for his wife.
“As he arrived, he found his 71-year old mother- in-law and attacked her with a panga.
He then returned home, went to his neighbor’s place and found the 13-year-old girl, he raped and hacked her to death.
“The man was later found hanging in the same room where the rape and murder incident took place,” the police said.
