During their Crime Prevention patrol around Kew, Trio Tactical Security members observed a suspicious black male standing on the roller door of a panel beating factory. The area is located on 10th Road next to factory number 158 at Kew near Alex.

When the suspect saw the officers, he ran into the factory and closed the door. However, the dedicated members stopped and went to investigate, but the suspect went out through the back door and jumped over the walls with other men.

Upon their investigation, they found an orange Toyota Hilux that was stripped. After checking with their control room, it was determined that the vehicle had been hijacked in Tsakane.

Upon checking around, the officers discovered a Ford Ranger that was also stripped. It was also stolen at Boipatong.

The team responsible for investigating the panelbeater in question is made up of:
SAPS,JMPD and Trio Tactical Security.
