Lightning struck a house in the village of Bambeni, Ka-Dzumeri on the outskirts of Giyani.
It is alleged that Mthuki’s house was burned to the ground around 2 am on Saturday, 06 November 2021.
A community leader, Jeffrey Mchavi, told Giyani View that their family recently lost a family member who died after collapsing in Gauteng province. “This family, within a short time, had suffered greatly.
“They lost everything; birth certificates and Christmas clothes for children were burned. We call upon members of the communities, business people, to help this family”, he added.
