People recently streamed through the gates of Beula Park International Conference Centre in Meadowdale, just north of Edenvale, to participate in the official launch of Kingdom Vision Radio.
This Christian radio station will be broadcast in all of the official
languages of South Africa, as well as French and Portuguese.
The launch took place at the foot of Beula Park’s Mount Zion Prayer Hill and among those in attendance were ministry and pastoral leaders, as well as residents and community leaders.
The morning centred around prayer, and praise and worship, with guests Bishop John Jack and renowned gospel singer Puleng March, as well as numerous worship groups, facilitating heartfelt worship.
Master of Ceremonies for the day, Phomelelo Mhlaba, burst forth with enthusiasm over the potential the new station had to bring— the hope to countless homes.
Station Manager Eugene echoed van Straten’s belief that the radio broadcasts can potentially reach billions of listeners across the country.
He explained that the new station had already stirred interests from international
ministries, including Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in the US, as well as ministries and organisations as far afield as Rio de Janeiro.
Kingdom Vision Network Manager Reverend Jonathan Naicker also addressed delegates and Dr Nico Landman, Mount Zion Prayer Hill visionary, encouraged residents from all denominations to stand in unity in support of the new station.
The new Kingdom Vision Radio app, available through Google Play Store, was also launched on the day.
The app is easy-to-use and offers
multiple language options.
The radio station’s team member have called the new platform a
“powerful tool” and have encouraged the community to get involved.
