The glamourous event was organized by Mpho Malatjie and Rirhandzu Sambo, amongst others.
She had vowed to herself that this was her final pageant because the journey had been filled with obstacles.
At certain instances, she also fell into depression and pulled out of the pageant.
“Despite the many discrepancies, I finally took courage to compete for the last time, with the aim of standing for my advocacy of empowering women and youth.
“I took 1st Princess, which may seem not too good, but it was a big moment for me. It means that I have fulfilled my purpose. However, my job as a pageant queen has not come to an end, as I need to continue to educate and motivate others,” said the hot Nozipho.
Born and raised in Alexandra, her pageantry journey began in 2013 when she competed in a pageant sponsored by Black Rose Academy.
“As of then, I was working towards finding my purpose as a model. I kept progressing towards greener pastures year by year, and have participated in pageants such as Miss Alexandra, Miss Boksburg, Mr. and Miss Siphosethu Arts Projects, Miss Maboneng, Miss African Beauty Queen, and Miss Keep SA Clean.
“On certain pageants, I did not even make it past the top 5, but that never killed my spirit. I remember not making it to Miss African Beauty Queen in 2019 and an even better opportunity arose – to become the director,” said the sexy woman with infections smile.
Her biggest achievement was in 2022, when she was named Miss Fashion District Queen.
And again, her biggest highlight was in 2024, when she made an appearance on House of Zwide as a model, which gave her a lot of exposure.
” In 2024, I was recommended to enter Miss Egoli, an entrepreneurial pageant that aims to empower women to establish their own businesses in different sectors.
“The amusing aspect was that I had not given it much thought until the online votes made me a finalist,” she laughs.
