Burglary continues in Alex.

About five families were attacked early today in Far East Alexandra.
It’s believed that a group of armed men robbed the residents in Ext.10 near Skeen primary school around 2:00.
In some flats they took cell phones, money and other belongings.
It is reported that during the burglaries, a resident was shot dead.
One irate member of the society wrote in one of the social groups:
“The situation is bad. One of the eyewitnesses said the criminals were speaking Tshona.
“Alexandra residents, we are at war and it is time to step out of your comfort zone and fight.
“Safety and security institutions should take these matters as an emergency and we need to start reasoning with our African brothers and sisters to stop killing fellow Africans.”
Police were not reached at the time of going to press.
