“(President Cyril) Ramaphosa lied at the funeral next to the coffin of the late mama Winnie (Madikizela- Mandela), that he will be visiting Marikana and he will ask me to accompany him.
“And I was going to say, hey chief, wait! When you did all of these, pleasing white minority capital, perhaps you even got money out of it, (and) you never called me. You ate alone.”
Asked if he also wanted to eat, Malema said: “I didn’t want to eat. When you ate, I wasn’t part of your messing up.
“Those who ate and allowed the killing of our people because they ate, must go and fix that mess.”
Malema was responding to questions from the media if he would honor Ramaphosa’s invitation to visit the Marikana survivors with him.
Today, the Marikana massacre survivors were at the North Gauteng High Court demanding justice.
This after 34 miners were shot dead by the police on the 16 August 2012.
The leader of the Red Beret said that the survivors of Marikana were fighting for the genuine cause.
He stated that the survivors needed the Rooikoppies (in Rustenburg) to be reserved so that the story of those miners killed should not be forgotten.
“They need the 16th August to be a public holiday. So that the future generation will know that a black government killed black African workers who were demanding their dignity.
“They need to know that the government that the people put, has turned its guns against its people.”
Malema, flanked by his followers, stated that they were ready and determined for all metros.
“I’m going to Natal (KZN) next weekend. We are taking all the municipalities. The ANC is dead and we are not going to wake up the dead.”
