When Alex Reporter arrived at 17th avenue home in Alex where a 7-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her 18-year-old neighbors, the innocent girl was playing with her siblings aged 9 and 10 as if nothing occurred to her.

Her troubled 29-year-old mother says she will do anything, including going to sangomas to ensure that the perpetrator was punished.

She says she will do that if the justice system lets her down.

She thinks the boy’s mother was doing whatever it takes, including bribing the cops to see her son released from jail.

The Kwa-Bekilanga boy known for playing soccer, was arrested last week after the alleged rape and is now at Sun City.

The mother, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the girl, says she wasn’t home and the two siblings had left the victim alone in the afternoon when the neighbor entered the room and turned her into his wife.

The girl told her mother what had happened and singled out the boy who was still wearing the same clothes. The boy’s mother is a close friend to the mother of the girl and are neighbors.

The woman said she was shocked when she took her child to Doctor Justin Kuya in Hillbrow (children’s clinic) for examination.

Kuya allegedly didn’t examine the girl.

” She told me the child was not raped without examining her and suspected she was beginning her menstrual cycle.

“She said even if I could go to another doctor, they were still going to send the child back to her,” she said.

She says she returned to Alex police, and told them what Kuya said to her. This is where the baby was referred to another doctor in Alex old police where the rape was confirmed to have occurred.

The mother of the boy allegedly wanted to bribe the girl’s mother with ten thousand rand.

“On Friday (last week) when she came back from work, she asked that we talk as women.”

The women then allegedly offered ten thousand bribes so that the case would be dropped.

However, in yesterday’s interview (Dec 13) with Tshepo Mosima on Midday Cruise with Tshepo dot.9, the boys’ mother said she was surprised when the issue was on all social media.

“Even the issue of bribe, I heard it on the radio. I am a woman of God, I can’t support evil,” she said.

She said that her son had requested money and that he went to Alex Mall with his friends the day of the incident.

“I’ll sue them if the results are negative,” she swore, saying her footballer son would never commit such a crime.
