The driver who allegedly shot Alex protesters and killed a woman denied pulling the trigger

The driver of the Quantum that allegedly shot and killed a woman in Alex, Tsutsumani circle is affiliated with the Alexandra Taxi Association.

He was arrested in Randburg while he was busy working yesterday.

The driver allegedly said he was not the one who shot the woman. He claimed that the shooter was seated in the back seat.

The association is alleged to have rejected his story.

The police expressed gratitude for the community’s collaboration with them.

The woman was coming home from work when she encountered angry protesters who had blocked a taxi’s path. It is suspected she was killed by the taxi driver who allegedly shot at stone-throwing protesters.
