The word ‘exposed’, as our title says, is not always followed by news of friendliness.

But in this article, we featured a great man who others call God’s Angel of Jobs, and his work is inspirational!

This man is Rivalani Kennedy Shibiti affectionately known as Nkuzi Ya Mananga on Facebook.

Shibiti is the mastermind behind Gingirikani Vantshwa va Limpopo, loosely translated Youth Get Busy!

The page has more than two hundred thousand followers.

The selfless leader, originally from Giyani, has posted and shared job opportunities, something that he does not even benefit financially from.

“I feel so honoured and proud to be sharing jobs. The challenge is the pandemic, which is ruining everything and increasing the unemployment rate in our country. As a result, many companies have cut personnel,” said Shibiti.”

Shibiti said that over the last two years he has created job alerts from a number of companies.

“As I received so many vacancies via email, I thought about why I don’t share them with others on WhatsApp and Facebook. I thought maybe there was someone looking for a job and he/she was the right candidate for this position.”

He says that in most cases, he buys airtime and visits the websites of the companies to take contact information. That gives him the opportunity to make a phone call and ask if there are any vacancies.

“Then I decided to start the group to help the youth of South Africa because I know the pain of unemployment with a qualification in hand.

“I hope that government ministries or businesses could recognize the group, because there are a lot of unemployed young people looking for a job,” he said.

The kind-hearted man says he wants things to work out well because helping others is his motto.

“I wish all members of the group applying to be appointed. They must not lose hope, for everything has its moment. They need to keep trying and pushing hard till their turn comes.”

Shibiti says he would like to encourage young people from South Africa to start small businesses to earn extra income, as they wait for calls for interviews.

“For our youth, I know that this pandemic has destroyed everything and that companies are struggling financially and that many people have lost their jobs.

“However, God’s time is the best. This will come to pass and everything will fall back into place.

“More jobs will be created and we will claw back what COVID-19 has taken away from us. To the administrators, facilitators and group members, I want to thank you and continue to help our brothers and sisters.”

SA’s official unemployment rate increased to 32.6% in the first quarter of 2021, the highest since the start of the Quarterly Labour Force Survey (QLFS) in 2008, Stats SA said on Tuesday.

The QLFS is a household-based sample survey conducted by Stats SA. It collects data on the labour market activities of individuals aged 15 years and older who live in SA.

The survey showed that the number of employed people decreased by 28,000 to 15 million in the first quarter.

The survey showed that the number of unemployed people increased by 8,000 to 7.2 million compared to the last three months of 2020, resulting in a decrease of 20,000 in the number of people in the labour force.

Stats SA said this was the third consecutive increase in unemployment since the Covid-19 national lockdown.

“However, it should be noted that during Q3 [3rd quarter] 2020, Q4 2020 and Q1 2021, the national lockdown regulations were relaxed, which allowed travelling, and this played a role in people actively looking for work, whereas during Q2 2020 the country was under hard lockdown that prevented movement.”
