An Alex thug who is currently on correctional parole robbed a woman at gun point . After being robbed of her phone, the victim alerted the patrollers who nabbed the thug. The thug allegedly sold the phone to other guys at Pan next to Yarona Building.
He was found with a gun and knife believed to have been used in the commission of the crime.
The patrollers said they marinated him horribly when he confessed his crimes. His friend who lives at Madala Hostel was able to run away without being dealt with and is a well-known thug who also terrorise the community.
However, after heavily marinating the criminal, the patrollers released the thug to walk free. They asserted that the gun was a toy. This thug who is known for robbing victims using a gun and a knife, stays at forth Avenue near the Women’s Hostel .
While some have praised the patrollers for teaching the thug a horror lesson, others are disappointed, saying they shouldn’t have released him, arguing that he would commit crimes again.
