At the age of 27 Ernest Mongezi Majenge has already proved that age was just a number.
While some of his peers have 10 children and some have already experimented all types of booze or committed heinous crimes,
Ernest is obsessed with innovation and creating jobs.
He is father of Geba’s 911 Wheelchair, the company that manufactures wheelchairs and repairs them.
The company is arguably the only enterprise on the African continent that builds user-friendly wheel-chairs.
He holds a degree in internal auditing from the Nelson Mandela University.
Because of passion to serve people Ernest had no option but to abandon his accounting career and went in the business fulltime to help others.
Ernest works with a team of experienced technicians who take the business to the doorsteps of their valued clients.
He was revered in 2018 when he won the Y-Beca TMC entrepreneur pitching competition in 2018. And from then, he never looked back!
He was a history maker of Kingdom Business Network in 2019.
“I was also part of the 100 shinning stars in Ekurhuleni. I was in top 10 SA Innovative Ideas organised by SA Innovation Summit.”
His infant company is only 18 months old but big hospitals, NGOS,clinics, rehabilitation centres and special schools in Gauteng always look for its services.
The smart dreamer told Alex Reporter.
“What distinguishes our business from other competitors is that we take the service to our clients.
“We are always efficient; our turnaround time of our services is very quick and we repair a wheelchair in your bedroom.”
Ernest currently needs investors that can help take his company to another level.
“I need an investor who can add value in my company.”
His advice to the youths,” whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.”
