According to reports, popular Durban singer and actor Zuluboy is said to have been tipped for the position of MEC for Arts, Sports & Recreation in KwaZulu Natal because he understands the arts better.
This, according to sources, will happen if his party, uMkhonto weSizwe (MK), emerges as the leading party in the KZN polls and takes control of the province.
The party holds the lead in the province’s polls currently.
If the party takes over the province and appoints the rapper, he will make history by becoming the first artist to hold a position as a Member of the Executive Committee (MEC) in the country.
